A dual strategic vision for our country
Our name expresses two complementary dimensions: ASE means Environment, Sustainability and Ecosystems; and ASE also means Austral, South American and Emerging.

Austral, South American and Emerging
It is a vision of our country’s place in the world: an austral nation with a natural and historical projection over Antarctica and a continental shelf of nearly 6 million km²; a South American nation located in a peaceful, nuclear-weapon-free region; and an emerging nation with a strong peaceful identity rooted in multilateralism and international cooperation.
